New Delhi । Chinese communications major, Xiaomi has revealed two new smartphones, named Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro. These two handsets are part of Xiaomi’s flagship series under its sub-brand, Redmi.
Speaking on their flagship series, Manu Jain, Managing Director, Xiaomi India, and Vice President, Xiaomi said, “As the first of our Redmi flagship series in India, Redmi K20 and K20 Pro truly redefine the ultimate flagship experience.”
Both the variants sport a 6.39 inch HD+ screen with an AMOLED display, promising a highly clear visual experience. It comes in 19:5:9 ration.
Redmi K20 Pro is powered with a high-powered Snapdragon 855 So, while Redmi K20 features a slightly lower Snapdragon 730 Soc. Both the devices run on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie.
Along with this, Redmi K20 sports 8GB of RAM while the latter flanks 6 GB RAM. Hence, if your requirements include an extremely strong processor and multi-window operations, K2 Pro is your perfect fit. The other variant will offer easy functionality and smooth operations for day-to-day usage.
Both the devices claim good performance on the battery front, as they pack a decent 4,000mAh battery.
In terms of camera, both the phones triple rear setup on the back and a 20MP pop-up selfie camera on the front.
The main camera on the back is a 48MP shooter. The Redmi K20 uses Sony IMX582 sensor while Redmi K20 Pro gets Sony IMX586 sensor. The main camera is paired with an 8MP telephoto and 13MP ultra wide angle camera.
Both the phones support a wide variety of connectivity option, including Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Redmi K20 Pro has a starting price of Rs.27,999 and Redmi K20 comes at an initial price of Rs 21,999.
